In addition to our focus on construction and procurement law, at CML we also cover a wide range of other legal areas, such as commercial and corporate law, real estate law, data protection, IT, AI, PPP, ESG, compliance and M&A. These areas require specific expertise, particularly in relation to the international context in which we operate.
You will accompany our projects through all phases - from acquisition and construction to disputes and follow-up work. Your expertise extends to the legal assessment of complex legal issues and the representation of the Group in arbitration and court proceedings. Legal areas such as labor, tax and insurance law are covered in other areas of the Group.
Your tasks as Contract Manager also include the creation and maintenance of supplementary documentation and close coordination with the project managers. Your goal is to identify obstacles and disruptions to the construction process at an early stage, assess their impact, and initiate appropriate countermeasures. Together with the project teams, you will analyze the contractual consequences of changes to the construction process and provide support in defending against claims from clients and subcontractors.
In close cooperation with the legal team, you will ensure that our construction projects are carried out in a structured manner and are successfully completed. Your negotiating skills and sound understanding of construction and contract law are crucial to the success of the project.
Your task is to support the operating units right from the acquisition phase: You will prepare and coordinate all prequalification documents and thus secure a strong competitive position. Your activities will range from providing standard documents and administrative support to independently processing complex prequalifications.
By working closely with specialist departments throughout the Group, you will make optimum use of existing expertise. Your organizational skills and talent for coordinating documents play a key role in ensuring that international projects are launched accurately and on time.
Your responsibilities will include documenting and managing contracts and legal documents, coordinating processes, as well as preparing meetings, and corresponding with internal and external stakeholders.
With your organizational talent and attention to detail, you will drive processes forward and generate a valuable contribution to the successful performance of our projects. At the same time, the position offers you the opportunity to develop your professional skills and apply your abilities in a dynamic environment.
