It's nice to see when the construction site is running, people are in a good mood and everyone is happy. Progress starts with each and every one of us.

What are your main tasks as a foreman?

The tasks of a foreman are varied. I coordinate all the people on the construction site, make sure that everything runs smoothly and that everyone is in the right place. If problems arise, I'm the link between the client and site management. Together we find solutions on site.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

What I enjoy most is that we face new challenges every day. We are not always in the same place and have different construction sites. The versatility of the work inspires me.

How do you find the balancing act between working on the construction site and in the office?

I try to be on the construction site a lot and do my work in the office at the same time. The balancing act is sometimes challenging, but it's important that it works for everyone involved.

  • Digitalization has simplified many things. In the past, it was not possible to identify interfaces and problems directly. Now we can see on site where there are collisions or problems and address them immediately. That makes our work much easier.

What drives you and what does success mean to you?

Success is what drives me. It's nice to see when the construction site is running, people are in a good mood and everyone is happy. Progress starts with each individual.
