Goals and target group

Versatile Project Management is orientated towards the corporate strategy People. Planet. Progress. corporate strategy and is aimed at prospective project managers from both commercial and technical backgrounds. They already have some experience and want to take on more responsibility for major international projects in the future.

The goal is clear: participants acquire comprehensive, future-oriented professional and personal skills for the implementation of demanding, major international projects and are ideally equipped for future challenges in their projects. The spectrum ranges from project management, contract law, controlling, communication and leadership to change management and future technologies. By directly applying what they have learnt to their own projects, the project managers also act as multipliers for the use of new technologies and tools.

International projects, international programme

Participants learn all of this in several intensive modules over a total of 15 months. What's special about this programme is that it is not face-to-face teaching, but rather a blended learning concept that combines self-study periods, digital sessions and attendance phases at the Vienna, Warsaw and Stuttgart locations. Due to the international nature of the programme, the training language is English.

Practicality and networking

A large number of internal and external trainers, each of whom is an expert in their field, are responsible for developing the wide-ranging knowledge. Instead of working on abstract cases in alternating project groups, the participants apply what they have learnt directly to their own projects. Visits to selected construction sites and to the experts for digitalisation and material development provide a strong practical focus and insights into the latest developments.

The changing, transnational project groups allow the participants to exchange experiences, support each other and learn from each other.

Speaking of networking: this not only takes place among the programme participants, but also with management representatives at fireside evenings.

No standardised approach - ongoing further development ensures future-proofing

As the world never stands still, even in the construction industry, the training programme is constantly adapted to current developments. As a result, participants and their future projects benefit from the latest knowledge - from innovative materials, construction site digitalisation and robotics to 3D printing and virtual & augmented reality in practice.

Multiple benefits: What the graduates say

Every training programme must ultimately be measured by what it actually achieves in practice. According to the participants, this is quite a lot, among other things:

With the skills learnt, the direct applicability and the personal network, all doors are open to you in international project management at STRABAG.
