From lateral entry to top performance in apprenticeship
Arrive, find your bearings, get started
Before Klevis began his apprenticeship at STRABAG, he faced a few challenges: new language, new environment, new professional requirements. What sets him apart is his consistency. Even before starting his apprenticeship, he had already achieved language level B2 in the integration course, giving him an important foundation for a successful professional future.
His turbo apprenticeship in two stages
Klevis began with a two-year apprenticeship as a civil engineering technician and then went straight on to train as a road builder, which he was able to shorten due to his strong performance. In his day-to-day apprenticeship, he shows continuous interest and commitment, which is clearly reflected in his development to date.
Chamber bestseller at the IHK Hanover
A highlight of his apprenticeship was the result of the practical examination: Klevis achieved the best examination result in his year at the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce. An award that underlines both his professional expertise and his personal development. With the signing of his employment contract, he is now a permanent member of the team and will support various projects in civil engineering and road construction as a specialist in the future.
Craftsmanship, responsibility and teamwork
During his apprenticeship, Klevis quickly found out which activities he particularly enjoyed. Sewer construction and leak testing in particular were among his preferred areas of work - fields that require precision and a sense of responsibility.
Looking back, he makes it clear how important the support of the team was to him: colleagues stood by his side throughout his apprenticeship, gave him practical help and made it easier for him to start his career.
His advice to future trainees:
