Doing my apprenticeship alongside work has enabled me to apply the skills I am learning as part of my studies to the workplace. Working on real challenges and making improvements, while allowing me the opportunity to explore the role of data in the construction industry, has been great.
The percentage of women working in data-related roles is currently 20% and, as my skills develop during my apprenticeship, I hope to contribute to closing this gap.
