Where did your interest in the construction industry come from?
My interest in the construction industry was sparked by my father and grandfather. Both worked as bricklayers. Through the training at the HTL, I then got the chance to enter construction management.
Where do you work and what are your responsibilities?
I work in traffic route construction and am a site manager for concrete and bridge construction. Here I supervise construction projects from the bidding phase through execution to final acceptance. In costing, it is exciting to find resources or synergies in order to obtain a costing advantage. In the execution itself, it is the quality and the satisfaction of our customers that we have to take into account in order to ensure an error-free and defect-free acceptance at the end.
