What does your day-to-day work as a construction manager look like?

I come to the construction site in the morning, discuss the next tasks with the foreman, check the costs and hold daily construction meetings on the order situation and the subcontractors. In the civil engineering sector, where I work, typical projects include hall constructions, bridge construction work and renovations. At the end of the working day, I look forward to sitting down together as a team and reviewing the day.

What does your team mean to you?

The team is our top priority. We solve problems together and then celebrate the successes together.

Do you have a favorite project?

My favorite project is the "Floating Gardens" on the Danube Canal in Vienna. When I pass by there, I often see smiling faces and joy among the population. A dream of mine would be to be involved in the construction of a subway.
